The trust in the received news: A survey of Ukrainian media
The majority of respondents choose Ukrainian news resources. The question of whether the media is really Ukrainian remains open because most respondents don't check the information about the media owner. Many choose international analytical sources in English.
70% of respondents said that it is more convenient to read the news in Ukrainian, 22% do not care and 8% feel more comfortable reading Russian. The results of the trust in the received information are interesting, as almost all of the respondents stated that they only check the information they doubt. If the news looks reliable, 53.7% of the respondents will check it in other resources, keeping in mind the rule of cross-checking the information accuracy at least in three sources.
Defection in Urban Environment: The Case of Poor
Defecating in public causes a vicious cycle of disease and poverty. The countries with the highest number of deaths of children under 5 years old as well as the highest levels of poverty and wealth are the ones where open defection is most widespread. The situation of the urban poor is getting worse as they live in mega cities with little or no space for toilets and waste removal. When sewage is removed from wealthier households and discharged into storm drain, waterways or landfills, it creates inequalities in access.
Sustainable Sanitation in Developing Countries
Providing sustainable Sanitation in Developing countries is one of the main challenges. Sanitation has challenges in nature. Sanitation infrastructure has to be adapted to meet consumer expectations.
The release of air pollutants, including certain toxic components, is an adverse outcome for incineration options. When total ecological consequences are considered, recycling and biofuel conversion are the sustainable options that have the lowest lifecycle costs. Composting value will be limited by the market demand.
Food Safety and Sanitation
Food safety and Sanitation is what it is. It included all practices that protect food from risk of being contaminated. Effective Sanitation programs should be used to address its importance.
Food safety is a top priority for food manufacturers and distributors. A work surface that looks clean does not mean it is sanitary. Food safety and Sanitation applications use chemical injectors.
Hand washing is one of the most important things you can do to prevent food poisoning. The cycle of disease and malnutrition can be caused by unsafe food. Reliable chemical distribution is a must for food processing plants, restaurants, and other industrial spaces that meet strict Sanitation Standards.
Foodborne diseases impede the development of the nation's health care systems and harm national economies. There are many food Sanitation laws and lists of regulations created by public health agencies. You need to have an edge in your career.
Hand washing facilities in urban areas: How much are children exposed to water?
Despite the importance of hand hygiene, three billion people, including hundreds of millions of school-going children, do not have access to hand washing facilities. People living in rural areas, urban slums, disaster prone areas and low-income countries are the most vulnerable. Without water, Sanitation and hygiene services, mothers and newborns may not receive the quality of care they need to survive and thrive. When health-care facilities have safe WASH services, members of the community are more likely to visit them, and health workers are able to model good Sanitation and hygiene practices.
How to Avoid Getting Sick from the Germs on Surface and Items
Sometimes those germs can make you sick. There could be germs on a tv remote. If you touch the remote and then rub your eyes or nose, you could get the germs.
It is important to wash your hands often to avoid getting sick from germs on surfaces and objects. You can't wash your hands every time you touch something. It's important to clean and sterilize objects.
