The Digital Television Transition
Digital Television has changed the viewing experience of television. DTV allows broadcasters to offer better picture and sound quality. Full-power television stations have been required to broadcast in a digital format since June 13, 2009.
The Digital Television Transition is when television is switched from analogue to digital. Congress gave the go-ahead for the distribution of an additional broadcast channel to every TV station so that they could both broadcast a digital broadcast and continue to broadcast analog. Congress set June 12th, 2009, as the deadline for full power television stations to stop broadcasting.
Digital television is a newer technology that broadcasts as digital signals rather than the analog signals of the past. Digital television technology improves signal, picture, sound, compatibility and interactivity. Since 2009, all TV stations have been required to broadcast only digital television.
Digital TV uses less bandwidth than other signals, which leads to better image and sound quality. Digital television can be seen in both standard and high-definition formats. It allows users to watch multiple channels and give them benefits.
Digital television has an advantage of compatibility. It can keep up with the latest developments in technology. Digital television has a great result in better reception.
DTV radio is not the same as portable radios that play the audio signal of digital TV channels, because of the transition to digital TV.
The First Year of Digital TV Engineering
The FCC ended analog broadcasts. Digital TV engineering was mandated to start from scratch. Why do you watch digital TV?
The answer is: Resolution, because analog TV was restricted by its limited resolution capability which defined picture quality. The large screen sizes are possible because of the high-resolution capability of digital TV. Digital television standards allow the above- listed formats to be created by broadcasters.

The Digital, Smart and Android TV Platform
Many people find it hard to distinguish between the three, each with a different feature that distinguishes it from the other. Some applications are pre-installed on smart TV. The TV market has a range of options to choose from, and the latest entrant is the TV device, called the Android TV. The tv is internet enabled but unlike the others, it runs on the operating system of the phone.
The ability to download any application they wish is available on the Play Store. You can download Netfilx, Showmax, and other apps that are missing on smart TV. There are over 300 applications for the TV and mobile sets in the Android TV platform.
